Important Notice for Admins PRESSIDCARD.COM operates on a credit-based prepaid system. When you purchase a package, you are buying "ID Card Credits" not physical goods. Due to the immediate digital nature of our service (instant document generation), standard 7-day return policies do not apply once the service is consumed.

1. Definitions

For clarity in this policy:

  • "Credits": Prepaid balance purchased by Admin to generate ID cards (1 Credit = 1 ID Card generation)
  • "Used/Consumed": When an Admin approves a user and the system generates the ID Card PDF/Documents
  • "Unused": Credits sitting in Admin account with no approval/download activity
  • "Subscription": Monthly/Yearly plans for platform access (distinct from per-card credits)
  • "Digital Product": PDF files, QR codes, and verification profiles generated by our system

2. Refund Eligibility Matrix

Your eligibility depends on credit usage status and time elapsed:

Strictly Non-Refundable Conditions

  • Once an ID Card PDF is downloaded by the User/Journalist
  • Once the QR code is generated and activated
  • If the Admin has approved the application (approval = generation)
  • Change of mind after seeing the generated card design
  • Spelling mistakes in data provided by User (Admin's responsibility to verify)
  • Dissatisfaction with photo quality (Users upload their own photos)
  • Account termination due to violation of Terms of Service

3. Refund Request Process

Follow these steps to request a refund:

Step 1: Submit Request via Email

Send email to INFO@PRESSIDCARD.COM from your registered Admin email.

Required within 48 hours of purchase

Step 2: Verification by System

Our team checks:
• Payment transaction ID
• Credit consumption status (used vs unused)
• Timestamp of first usage (if any)

Takes 2-3 working days

Step 3: Approval/Rejection

If unused: Approved. If used: Rejected with detailed evidence log.

Email notification sent

Step 4: Refund Processing

Amount credited back to original payment method (UPI/Bank/Card).

Required Information in Email:
  • Subject: "Refund Request - [Your Channel Name]"
  • Transaction ID / Order ID
  • Date of Purchase
  • Reason for refund
  • Bank Account Details (for UPI/Bank transfer refunds)

4. Refund Calculation

4.1 Full Refund (Unused Credits)

If you purchased credits but did not approve any users (credits remain unused):

4.2 Partial Refund (Bulk Packages)

If you bought a package of 50 credits and used only 10 within 2 days:

Package Price (50 Credits) ₹5000
Less: Used Credits (10 × ₹100) - ₹1000
Less: Gateway Charges (on refund amount) - ₹80
Net Refund for 40 Credits ₹3920

Note: Per-credit rate is calculated based on your package tier pricing.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Subscription Cancellation

  • Monthly Plans: Can cancel anytime. No refund for current month if already billed, but prevents next billing.
  • Yearly Plans: Can cancel anytime, but yearly discounts are forfeited. Refund calculated on pro-rata basis for unused months (only if no credits consumed).

5.2 Account Closure

You may request account closure at any time. However:

  • Remaining unused credits will be forfeited (no refund after 2-day window)
  • Generated ID cards remain valid until expiry (1 year from issue)
  • Public profiles remain accessible via QR code until natural expiry
  • Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy timeline (30 days soft delete)

6. Special Circumstances

6.1 Technical Failures

If payment was successful but credits were not added to your account due to technical error:

  • Full refund including payment gateway charges
  • Or alternative: Credits will be added manually + 10% bonus credit as apology
  • Resolution within 24 hours

6.2 Force Majeure

In case of platform shutdown due to unforeseen circumstances (legal, natural disasters, etc.):

  • Pro-rata refund for unused credits will be issued to all active Admins
  • 30-day notice will be provided before complete shutdown

6.3 Fraudulent Transactions

If we detect fraudulent payment activity:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • No refund issued
  • Legal action may be taken

7. Disputes & Contact

If you disagree with our refund decision:

  1. Email disputes@PRESSIDCARD.COM with full details
  2. Our escalation team reviews within 5 working days
  3. If still unresolved, you may approach the Consumer Court in [Your City], India
