For Channel Admins subscribing to our service:

• We do NOT store your credit/debit card details
• All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways (Razorpay, PayU, etc.)
• We only store transaction IDs, payment status, and subscription dates
• UPI IDs and Bank Account details (only for refunds) are encrypted

1.4 Technical Data

When you access our platform, we automatically collect:

• IP Address and location data (for security logging)
• Device information (Browser type, OS, Screen size)
• Usage patterns (Pages visited, time spent, clicks)
• Cookies and session data (for maintaining login sessions)

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Primary Purpose - ID Card Generation

The core function of our platform is to generate professional Press Identity documents:

3.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

Your personal information is never sold to advertisers or third-party marketing companies.

3.2 Service Providers

We share limited data with:

• Payment Gateways: Razorpay, PayU (for processing subscriptions)
• Cloud Storage: AWS India, Google Cloud India (for secure document storage)
• Email Services: SendGrid, AWS SES (for sending ID cards and notifications)
• Analytics: Google Analytics (anonymized data only)

3.3 Legal Requirements

• RNI (Registrar of Newspapers for India) for legitimacy checks

4. Data Security Measures

4.1 Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Data retained as long as account is active
• Deleted Accounts: Soft deleted for 30 days (recovery period), then permanently deleted
• ID Cards: Even after account deletion, generated ID cards remain verifiable via QR for 1 year (marked as "Expired")
• Payment Records: Retained for 5 years as per Indian tax laws

4.2 Breach Notification

In case of a data breach, we will:

• Notify affected users within 72 hours
• Inform relevant authorities (CERT-In) as required by law
• Provide detailed incident reports
• Take immediate corrective actions

5. Your Rights & Controls

5.1 For Journalists (ID Card Holders)

You have complete control over:

• Who joins your portal (Accept/Reject applications)
• Which documents are generated for your members
• Whether to display member photos publicly
• Suspending/Blocking members immediately
• Exporting your member database

5.3 How to Exercise Rights

1. Subject line: "Data Request - [Your Role]"
2. Your registered email address
3. Mobile number for verification
4. Specific request (Download/Delete/Correct)

We will process your request within 7 working days.

6. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us immediately for deletion.
